Since my first gig in 1982 with the Michael Nyman Band I have been playing this 4-bar bass riff to "An Eye for Optical Theory". I recently decided it was time to have a go at playing the other parts, so I have recorded a version that uses five of my basses.

Here is the bass line:

EyeBassPart367

And here is a 2-minute version. I hope you enjoy it.

For those of you that like this stuff, here is the information about the basses. The first bass is my Spectorcore five-string fretted, followed by a slappy fill on the Overwater Jazz. The high parts are played on my Wal Custom V, strung with a high C and the bass line is played on my Washburn acoustic bass guitar. The melody is double-tracked Spectorcore fretless five-string.
